What is the level of physical fitness required for this trek?

 This trek is considered Easy to medium . Participants should have a good level of fitness and be comfortable with walking for several hours each day over varied terrain, including steep ascents and descents.

What is the best time of year to undertake this trek?

This tour is available year-round, but the best time to travel to Morocco for this trek is during the warmer months from June – October, when camping is also an option.

 

What type of accommodation will be provided during the trek?

Accommodation along your trek will be in simple Berber gites for an authentic experience of Moroccan life and culture. Camping is an option during the summer months.

Are there any age restrictions for the trek?

Participants must be at least 18 years old to join this trek. There is no upper age limit, but it is important to consider your fitness level and consult with your healthcare provider if you have any concerns.

Will there be support staff during the trek?

Yes, experienced local guides will accompany the trekking group throughout the journey. They will provide guidance, assistance, and share knowledge about the local culture and surroundings.

Is travel insurance required?

It is highly recommended to have travel insurance that covers trekking activities, including medical expenses and emergency evacuation. Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel insurance.

How do I book and what are the payment terms?

Find the trek you are interested in then contact us via E-mail to discuss your trek and check availability. Once the details of your trek (duration, route and number of people) have been agreed, we will make a provisional booking, giving the dates and cost.
To confirm your booking we ask you to pay a 20% deposit. This can be in Euros, pounds sterling or US dollars  online via bank account. The balance is paid in Morocco by cash – again in Euros, sterling or dollars – at the beginning of the trek.
NB: if you can’t carry cash, you can always pay again the balance online by bank few days before departure.
